Community Guidelines
Last updated: February 2026
These guidelines define what content is allowed on ailbum. They apply to all creations, assets, descriptions, and external links. Both human reviewers and automated systems use these criteria for validation.
Our Philosophy
ailbum is a showcase for AI-assisted creativity. We celebrate experimentation, artistic expression, and the diverse ways people use AI tools. We believe in creative freedom while maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all users.
We are not judges of artistic merit. A creation doesn't need to be "good" or polished to be on ailbum. What matters is that it was made with AI tools and doesn't violate these guidelines.
Prohibited Content
Hate & Discrimination
We do not allow content that:
- Attacks or demeans individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or veteran status
- Promotes supremacist ideologies or hate groups
- Uses slurs, dehumanizing language, or harmful stereotypes
- Denies historical atrocities or genocides
Violence & Harm
We do not allow content that:
- Depicts realistic violence against identifiable individuals

Sexual Content & Exploitation
We do not allow:
- Pornography or explicit sexual content (genitalia, sexual acts)
- Sexual content involving minors (real or depicted) — zero tolerance
- Non-consensual sexual content or "deepfakes" of real people
- Content that sexualizes violence
Note: Artistic nudity and mature themes are allowed with proper nsfw content rating. The line is explicit sexual content, not nudity itself.
Harassment & Privacy
We do not allow content that:
- Targets, harasses, or bullies specific individuals
- Reveals private information (doxxing)
- Impersonates real people in harmful or misleading ways
- Contains non-consensual intimate images
Illegal & Dangerous
We do not allow content that:
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
- Provides instructions for weapons, explosives, or dangerous substances
- Constitutes fraud, phishing, or scams
- Infringes copyrights in clear bad faith
Misinformation
We do not allow content that:
- Spreads health misinformation that could cause harm
- Constitutes election interference or manipulation

External Links
All external URLs must:
- Lead to safe, non-malicious destinations

- Not redirect to prohibited content
- Not require payment to access the creation itself
Quality Standards
We reject submissions that are:
- Spam or duplicate submissions of the same creation
- Empty or placeholder content
- Screenshots of prompts without any actual output
- Automatically generated bulk submissions
- Unrelated to AI-assisted creation
Intellectual Property
What We Accept
- Original AI-generated work
- Transformative work using AI tools
- Work inspired by existing art styles (not direct copies)
- Fan art and parodies (with reasonable creative input)
What We Don't Accept
- Direct copies of copyrighted work with no transformation
- AI-generated reproductions of specific copyrighted images
- Content claiming to be by an artist when it's AI-generated mimicry
- Creations that exist solely to deceive about authorship
AI-generated content exists in evolving legal territory. We don't adjudicate copyright disputes, but we will remove content upon valid legal requests (DMCA or equivalent).
Content Ratings
Creators must accurately rate their content:
SFW (Safe For Work)
- Appropriate for general audiences
- No nudity, gore, or mature themes
- Can be viewed in professional settings
NSFW (Not Safe For Work)
- Contains artistic nudity
- Mature themes (horror, dark content)
- Violence in artistic context (not gratuitous)
- Drug references or adult language
Remember: NSFW is not a loophole for prohibited content. Pornography and hate speech are banned regardless of rating.
Edge Cases & Context
Satire & Commentary
We allow political satire and social commentary, critical art that examines difficult subjects, and educational content about harmful topics. We don't allow these to be used as cover for genuine hate or harm.
Horror & Dark Art
We allow horror aesthetics and dark themes, surreal or disturbing imagery, and artistic exploration of death and fear. We don't allow gratuitous gore or content that exists solely to shock.
Historical & Documentary
We allow AI recreations of historical events, educational content about difficult history, and memorial or awareness content. We don't allow glorification of atrocities or revisionism.
